Rather than quick snapshots, each guest or group is thoughtfully posed and photographed—full-length or natural portraits that feel modern and editorial. Moments later, they receive a 5×7" print, created on-site as a meaningful keepsake. Elevated, polished, and ready to be framed.

Cocktail Hour

Give your guests something they really want…It’s the first time in a while your guests are dressed to the nines, photo-ready. Why not gift them a beautiful portrait to document their looks?

The portrait experience has a photographer, studio lighting, an elevated backdrop (or we work with your design team to photograph a backdrop scene you’ve created). Guests will be posed to look their best and then receive a 5x7 print as well as a digital version of their photo in seconds.

This is perfect as a cocktail hour activity when people still look fresh and would love an activity. Want photos mixed with a little more personality? Book the portrait experience through the full reception and watch people get fully comfortable to be whatever they want to be as the night goes on.

You’ll also receive a full online gallery of all the beautiful portraits after the event so you can see all the incredible images.

To create the right setting, we work closely with each couple and their planning or design team. Portraits can be photographed against a custom backdrop provided by your designer, one of our elevated backdrop options, or thoughtfully framed using the natural beauty of your venue—no backdrop needed.

To secure your date, a 50% retainer fee and a signed contract are due at booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event.
Cocktail hour is one of our favorite times for portraits — your guests are mingling, the energy is high, and it gives everyone something special to do. For larger guest lists of 150+, we recommend extending into the reception so every single guest gets their moment. We'll work closely with you and your planner to find what fits your day perfectly.
Every guest receives a beautiful 4x6" or 5x7" print, hot off the press right on site. They'll also get a digital copy texted straight to their phone so they can share it immediately if they'd like!

We have a gorgeous selection of draping options in multiple colors. We also love incorporating your venue's natural beauty or collaborating with your design team to create something truly one of a kind.
A 10x10' backdrop is the sweet spot — plenty of room for beautiful portraits!
Yes! Every photo from the evening gets uploaded to a private online gallery, all yours to browse and revisit whenever you like. Our gallery comes with an attached print shop where you and your guests can order additional prints in any size you love. A little piece of the night, whenever you want it.
